I just received my very first wedding invitation. My beautiful Jessica is getting married and I could not be happier for her. I believe my exact reaction to opening it was something along the lines of a little happy dance with a little leap in the air.
When did we grow up? It feels like only yesterday I was beginning college and getting to know this lovely little lady. Come September I will be in Chicago for the wedding which gives me 8 months to find a date. I can't help but feel a romantic comedy on. Maybe I will find one in the yellow pages like Debra Messing? Or maybe meet a wedding crasher?
Bottom line - Jess, I am so incredibly happy for you.
